Enable Extra Features

Normally, Windows Server installations do not contain extra apps and utilities, such as the Snipping Tool, which can be useful when diagnosing
issues that require screenshots of error messages, pop-ups, etc.

Start by going to "Server Manager", available by right-clicking on "Computer", or by running "servermanager.msc" without the quotes.
This will bring up the Server Manager window.

Then, in the left pane, click on "Features" to highlight it, and then in the right pane, at the far right side, click on "Add Features".

This brings up the "Add Features Wizzard" window. Select "Desktop Experience", and the "Add features required for Desktop Experience?" pop-up apears.
Click on the "Add Required Features" button and a warning pop-up should apear informing you that a reboot will be required. Click on "Continue", and
the process will then complete on it's own. When prompted for reboot, make sure all open applications are closed, and any open files saved, if required,
and then proceed with the reboot.

After reboot, the "Snipping Tool" should now be available, along with some other tools and features.

Here is the list of what is installed with Desktop Experience:

•Windows Media Player •Desktop themes •Video for Windows (AVI support) •Windows SideShow •Windows Defender •Disk Cleanup •Sync Center •Sound Recorder •Character Map •Snipping Tool
