Patches is my 18 year old Australian/Queensland Blue Heeler, aka, Australian Cattle dog.
I've had her since she was 6 weeks old, and she has turned out to be the best dog I've ever had in my life!

She is really starting to show her age now, and limps for days after running.
She just recently almost died due to her internal organs shutting down. The vet wanted to put her down last Saturday, but I felt she wasn't suffering, and had a chance to make it wil a lot of TLC.

After a week on an IV of Ringer Lactate saline solution, and lots of TLC, she has pulled through, and is on a great path to recovery! :)

She does need to put some meat on her bones, as she is only 21 pounds, and her normal weight is 30lbs.
I will do what ever it takes to make her healty and live as long a happy life as possible.
